A Legacy Tree is a meaningful way to celebrate and remember the special people in your life.
The Nashville Legacy Trees Program presents a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to establish a lasting legacy in the city. By sponsoring the planting of a tree in honor or memory of someone special, you contribute to the vibrancy of Nashville’s urban scenery.
Through the Legacy Tree program, Nashville Tree Foundation will plant a 1-1.5″ caliper tree on public land in honor of or in memory of a person/pet you choose. Each Legacy Tree includes a two-year guarantee, during which NTF provides routine maintenance such as mulching, pruning, and watering. Legacy trees will be planted during the planting season (November-March).
